Installation in Central Park, 2021
In the Spring of 2021 with lockdowns still in place in New York city, and my ever increasing appreciation for the park, I noted the incredible browns around the park, and the beautiful shades of brown and earthy colors contrasting to the blue of the sky and the red, ice rescue ladders scattered around the park.
Remember Summer is a series of installations in Central Perk created to complement the old masters colors of the park with streaks of red, orange, yellow and blue. These were the initial installations where I tried various hand configurations for the first time.
On making the installations i realized that I needed to repaint the hands in order to achieve even better contrast and color intensity.
