A drawing I'm currently working on and dedicated to my dad who passed away a little over a month ago.
This is about NASA's mission to asteroid Bennu, so in this drawing there is an asteroid but also celebration of engineering.
My dad was an engineer, and a very talented leader, both my parents are engineers with three engineering master's degrees between them. As an artist I believe that engineering and math is fundamental to art and all great artists subscribed to that.

They're so attached to their gadgets they forget that according to physics all silicon valley and all of the addicts in the tenderloin are one and the same thing, trembling quantum fields.
Building great things doesn't need to happen at the expense of our humanity, if we lose our humanity then building anything is useless, the way Hitler's war machine at the end was evil and useless and caused great suffering, although the machines themselves were beautiful.
Machines and algorithms that do not extend and enforce our humanity serve to end humanity.
We must exercise our compassion daily and constantly incantate our realizations that reality is a veil and the material world is a veil and when not serving compassion we serve evil.
If you think that the feet of the homeless person are dirty and yours are clean you are an idiot.
Imagine if kids in the Bronx look forward to building rockets instead of working at McDonald's. Also imagine if the tech bros actually worked at compassion rather than dating profile startups. Or if we build rocket futures on other planets rather than wars on this one.
Furniture cannot be treasure, treasure is the human experience.
Whenever I watch accidentally some TV show called something like treasure hunting I always laugh because there's always some wooden planks that they attribute some value to. I'm like this thing that's no longer a tree has no value whatsoever. What has value is the human experience.

I can't defend the rape and killing of Israeli women and children, I believe Israeli people have the right to defend themselves. I hate war and senseless killing, but if you do atrocities you have to answer for them.
I love it and makes me excited for the future, now the things I read as a kid in Asimov and Arthur c Clarke books are coming, maybe not tomorrow, maybe not next year, but after that I'm sure.
We're bit by bit all made of it except the 10% hydrogen that came preloaded with the big bang.
