Prada - more than 100 year old fashion house - is best known for their expensive bags and clothing items which can go for thousands of dollars. Might as well carry a grocery bag and wear a tshirt by Mirena Rhee

NASA wears PRADA but I think it sends a wrong message that luxury goods are actually worth anything and worth aspiring to.

I am mad that NASA will be paying fake goods company to make spacesuits.

In principle I do not agree tax dollars should go to luxury brands which I think are a big part of the climate problem. I consider "luxury brands" blight for humanity. They replace in young minds the ambition to do truly great things. It is just such a small endeavor. It is little.

We must have some MIT and fashion institute grads to take this on, don't we? I imagine a Tesla design studio for spacesuits with young and hungry fashion and engineering kids developing the next generation of wearable technology, for space and beyond who knows. Call me I have low expectations for this company to deliver a SpaceX type innovation to spacesuits.

I imagine my tax dollars to inspire kids to go into science and engineering, math and learn Silicon Valley type iteration and innovation. Maybe it can fund a spacesuit and future wear tech programs in colleges. It takes a special kind of place, with values that align with kinda lean and fast development. Maybe I haven't visited enough Prada stores yet.
