These drawings, animations and wearable installations are landscapes with pliant boundaries,
projections of a fictional universe where the borders between two and three-dimensional,
visual and tactile, artist and audience are often crossed. For them I draw inspiration from
modern and classical mythology, the study of old masters and antiquity
and my past work for George Lucas.

Drawing with dip pen and ink is an archaic technique of drawing dating back to the reed pens of 400 BC.
My own hands serve as the models and the reason they became
a building block of my drawings is because of their accessibility - being
constantly present and available.

The wearables are three-dimensional sculptures meant to be worn on the body and to create tactile bond
where the wearer gives the third dimension and becomes part of the work.

About the artist

I am a Lucasfilm alumna and a former Star Wars artist currently based in New York city.

Prior to moving to New York I spent a decade as an artist in the Silicon Valley,
working for franchises like Star Wars, Iron Man, X-Men
and Shrek. This type of commercial work involved mainly working in a three
dimensional space on the computer and my drawings carry over that
three-dimensional play and often include geometric bodies and occasional
Star Wars allusions like the Darth Vader helmet.
